Congratulations to all nine swimmers who took part in our 10km swim on 13 September 2015. With very testing conditions and a ‘lumpy’ sea, everyone swam magnificently!

The annual informal 10km swim for East Dorset Open Water Swimming Club members is set for Sunday 7 Sept.
There will be a staggered start and the favourable tide means the slower swimmers will set off first around 7am from Sandbanks Beach, near the Lifeguards Station (note NOT our usual Shore Road venue) with everyone aiming to finish at Fishermans Walk for refreshments around 11am.
EDOWSC may not not have had many swimmers in the championships held at Weymouth on 29 Jun 2014 following the 3.8km Seahorse Swim a week earlier but those attending put in good performances.
