2009 Brownsea Island Swim

Sep 8th, 2009 | By admin | Category: News

The 2009 Brownsea Island Swim was a great race as usual and brilliantly organised by RLSS Poole Lifeguards. On behalf of the Club and 156 entrants, we would like to thank Mark Shakles, his support team and safety crew. We are very lucky to have such a terrific swim so close to our base.

East Dorset Open Water Club swimmers featured strongly in the full distance non-wetsuit and wetsuit categories. Danni Callahan came third in the non-wetsuit category (1.39.24) and Tasha Morey first in wetsuit (1.29.52).
