Are you ready for some Lido Love?

Jan 7th, 2010 | By admin | Category: Events

7pm-8.30pm, Saturday 9 January 2010 - London Fields Lido, E8 3EU.

Since re-opening after an 18-year hiatus in 2006, London Fields lido has become one of Hackney’s favourite recreational spots, a magnet for sun-worshippers in the summer and a reliable resource for serious swimmers in the cooler months.

In celebration of its success, there will be an evening of all things Lido-related on Saturday. Organised by local art curator Adriana Marques, the event will look at the history of the lido, and of open-air pools in general, and will feature films (including one effort by Tracey Emin), a live band, and a magician, plus a selection of seasonally warm treats from the cafe.
