Beautifully maintained pool and surrounds. Restored changing facilities.

Celebrated its 75th Anniversary in 2008.

Open from end of April to mid September.

My comment:
We arrive at Guilford Lido to be greeted by a very friendly lifeguard who lets us in for free. What a wonderful pool: feels like I’ve died and gone to heaven: 50 metres long with well cared for grass terraces. Many people including families just sunbathing or lolloping around in the pool. The whole place is immaculate and the staff and patrons clearly take a real pride in the place. Complete our swim around 1pm and Sally takes the obligatory photo for the record. Great part of the day.
